Candy "Mac" McMullen

I am a co-founder of FIC. I am so blessed to be part of this ministry and everything God has in store for us. I have experienced first hand what a difference God can make in someones life. Our family is a living testimony of what families of prisoners actually go through. My prayer is that God continues to allow us to carry his light into a dark place and share our testimonies of hope.

Hebrews 13:16 - And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Mark 16:15 - And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

I am the oldest daughter of Tony and Candy Mac. I graduated as a Magna Cum Lauda honor student at NSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  It is my passion to help the hurting. I am very proud of the Legacy my parents have started for our family in furthering the Kingdom of Christ. I love getting to be a part of something so special.

FIC is important to us. Being a part of the ministry is the most amazing feeling in the world. It has helped us to overcome many obstacles in life. Everyone has a purpose and God always has a plan.  This is a ministry that is changing the world one person at a time. FIC allows us to serve God and show others the love an compassion of Jesus Christ. The prisoners probably minister more to us than we do to them. Tony Mac and Candy Mac helped us to see our potential as a servant.

I started helping with FIC in 2016. I like going because I enjoy getting to encourage others. I get blessed by the prisoners. It is wonderful to see people who do not take their salvation for granted. I love watching them worship freely and whole heartedly.

I have served on the Board of Trustees since Tony McMullen began FIC. It has been exciting to be active in this ministry as a badged volunteer with DOC. Visiting the prisons, attending church services, tent revivals, or just walking the yards talking to inmates is a very satisfying experience. Seeing lives changed makes it all worthwhile.

Tony and Nila Davis have been active in spreading God's Word through Free In Christ Prison Ministries since 2012.  Tony was a police officer and was tried and convicted of a crime that he was not guilty of in October of 1985.  He spent 23 years in Oklahoma prisons.  He knows how important it is to help those that are incarcerated and to help individuals break-the-chain in order to change their lives.

I was considered to be worthless to society and not expected to leave prison alive. God had other plans and I am now Pastor of God's Shinning Light and minister with a program for second chances called Wings of Freedom. It is important to me to share my testimony with others and bring God's hope and promises to those in search of hope .
